As the founder of Studio Berlinord, Hrafnkell Birgisson defines himself as a re-designer and design activist. Working within a conceptual and critical approach, Studio Berlinord covers the fields of product design, exhibition design, and experimental architecture with a focus on rethinking the way our activities contribute to the conditions that await future generations.

Studio Berlinord strives for more complete life cycles by reclaiming, reinventing, and repurposing with the aim of intervening with perception and the existing incomplete, unsustainable systems. They engage in interdisciplinary collaborations with a variety of professionals and experts, embracing different skills and experiences.
